wave-based-parallel-plan-execution
Orchestrate phase execution by discovering dependencies, grouping into waves, spawning subagents, and collecting results with optional wave filtering
Best use case
wave-based-parallel-plan-execution is best used when you need a repeatable AI agent workflow instead of a one-off prompt.
Orchestrate phase execution by discovering dependencies, grouping into waves, spawning subagents, and collecting results with optional wave filtering
Teams using wave-based-parallel-plan-execution should expect a more consistent output, faster repeated execution, less prompt rewriting.
When to use this skill
- You want a reusable workflow that can be run more than once with consistent structure.
When not to use this skill
- You only need a quick one-off answer and do not need a reusable workflow.
- You cannot install or maintain the underlying files, dependencies, or repository context.

# Wave-Based Parallel Plan Execution When executing multiple interdependent plans in a phase, use wave-based parallelization: orchestrator discovers all plans, analyzes dependencies, groups non-blocking plans into waves, spawns subagents (each with full execute-plan context), and collects results. Optional `--wave N` flag enables staged rollout or quota management. Phase verification only completes when no incomplete plans remain after the final wave finishes.
